The name Bremner is a corruption of Brabanter, and refers to tradesmen from the Low Countries (i.e. Brabant) from around the fifteenth century. This website is a personal history of the Bremner family, compiled by several members of the family from the past few generations. We hope you enjoy the stories told, which date back to the 1740s.
